    Teryn Reché Bio

    Teryn Reché is a multi-talented individual, known for her skills as a singer/songwriter, model, and entrepreneur. Her love for music began at an early age, as she was influenced by her Dad, who had dedicated years to music ministry. Teryn's passion for music blossomed as she started playing the violin in 5th grade. Over time, she expanded her musical horizons by learning other instruments, including the upright bass during her middle school years.

    During her sophomore year of high school, Teryn attended the Tacoma School of the Arts, which further nurtured her artistic abilities. She also became a part of the Seattle talent agency, where she gained experience in acting, modeling, and honing her stage presence. Additionally, Teryn pursued her interest in audio engineering by studying it in college.

    As Teryn embarked on her journey in the music industry, she faced unique challenges as a woman of color in a male-dominated field. These experiences, coupled with her struggle to reconcile her faith, have driven her to navigate her way through the industry while preserving her integrity, seeking healing, and inspiring other creatives. It is this drive that ultimately led her to start her own venture, Above the Record.

    Zach DeLucco Bio

    Zach DeLucco (Only1s) is a producer, songwriter, engineer specializing in alternative R&B, hip-hop, and electronic indie music. For over 7 years, Only1s has been producing atmospheric beats with lush digital synthesizers and acoustic guitars, and writing gloomy melodies with mournful lyricism of heartbreak, isolation, and mental health. Early projects such as The Lake
    House and Hemlocks, exude wanderlust and self-discovery, with songs like “Walden”, “Auto-Pilot”, and “Hollywood”. He is the co-founder of independent music collective Brokey Records, focused on production, marketing, and artist development. Only1s has worked with artists such as jovani, Jaziré, FedSoul, OK Houston, Bry444n, Grxtty, and The Rhetorician, as well as coordinating a dozen shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.

    Wax the Producer is a highly collaborative audio engineer who specializes in facilitating, producing, and recording live performances in studios and public venues. With a passion for creating exceptional audio experiences, Wax possesses multiple recording software proficiencies and instrument expertise.

    Currently serving as an Audio Producer, Foley & Audio Post-Production specialist since February 2020, Wax has utilized the latest software development tools, techniques, and approaches to deliver outstanding results. Through his informative audio presentations, he strives to provide prospective clients with the most valuable information possible.

    Drawing from a deep understanding of music terminology, Wax brings a unique perspective to his work. He is exclusively familiar with JIRA, ASANA, and Smartsheet, enabling him to efficiently manage projects and ensure seamless coordination with all stakeholders involved.

    In addition to his expertise in recording software, Wax also has extensive experience in directing dialogue and other vocal tracks with actors and voice-over artists. With over two years of experience in testing in-game audio, he consistently delivers immersive soundscapes that enhance the gaming experience.

    As a studio manager, Wax adeptly delegates tasks and organizes client session schedules. His ability to set deadlines and prioritize tasks ensures smooth project workflows and timely completion. Notably, his impressive roster of artists he has worked with includes Keys Open Doors, James Lite, Mileena, Rahale B.     Jerard M. Mower, originally from Tacoma, Wash., began studying music at a young age. He received training in jazz and classical saxophone under the guidance of Kareem Kandi and Erik Steighner. Additionally, he pursued jazz improvisation under the tutelage of Kareem Kandi and David Deacon-Joyner. Over the course of his 20-year career as a musician, he has had the honor of performing for renowned individuals such as Jeff Coffin, Desmond Tutu, Governor Christine Gregoire, and Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll.

     

    Jerard has showcased his talent at numerous venues in the Pacific Northwest, including Jazzbones, Engine House No. 9, the now-closed Sax on 6th, Odd Otter Brewery, Uncle Thurms, Life Center Church, Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center, and the Rialto theater in downtown Tacoma. Furthermore, he has had the opportunity to tour Spain, Portugal, and Australia with the Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) Jazz Ensemble.

     

    In 2017, Jerard graduated from PLU, earning a Bachelor of Music and Arts degree with a Minor in Religious Studies. His dissertation, titled “The Emotionalism Movement in the Southern Baptist Church as seen by Thomas A. Dorsey,” showcased his insightful analysis and research skills.
